DESCRIPTION

Saona Island is a tropical island located a short distance from the mainland on the south-east tip of the Dominican Republic. It is a government protected nature reserve and is part of East National Park. The Island is known for its beaches, and has been used on a number of occasions by film-makers and advertisers looking for a stereotypical "desert island" setting for their film or product. After the pick up from your hotel you will drive to Bayahibe from there your amazing experience on the Caribbean Sea starts. While you enjoy the most awesome views, the best Dominican drinks and music, the catamaran takes you along the coast to idyllic Saona Island in about 2 hours. Chill out in the nets in the front of the catamaran, dance on the deck or just enjoy the sun! You will absolutely be pleasantly surpised when you see the gorgeous white beach of Saona! This is where you will spend the next few hours. The spots to make the best holiday pictures are uncountable, enjoy swimming, lunch, music and chill out!

There comes an end to the time on the island but not to having fun yet! You will go on an exciting ride on the speed boat to the natural swimming pool. In the middle of the sea there is this amazing place where the cristal clear water only comes up to your waist. The water is so clear, it almost hurts your eyes! Don't miss your chance to get a great picture with the star fishes. You can find them everywhere. The floating bar will provide you the "vitamines" you need. Once back to Bayahibe the bus will take you back to your hotel.
