DESCRIPTION:

This is what I call an adventurous tour! Drive your “low to the ground” buggy on rough paths through the mud to the wonderful, huge and authentic Taino cave (non-commercial) where you can learn about interesting facts of the cave and its rock formation. The tour only goes off-road through a variety of vegetation, rock/hill formations and is ECO-friendly. You will be completely covered in mud by the time you reach the typical Dominican house with the beautiful backyard. On the country side everything grows and the locals will be proud to show you around and to offer you their home made coffee. This half day excursion takes you away from the big resorts and shows you some of the local culture. Don’t forget to bring sun lotion, sunglasses and a bandanna to cover your face!
