Besides the beach Punta Cana has a lot to offer. We highly recommend to spend some time out of the resort to get a sense of Dominican Republic's culture, history and joyfull population! The local language is Spanish but because of the tourism you will be able to communicate in English with most of them. This reasonably priced Caribbean hideout is made for travelers of all ages.

Bavaro Beach gets Blue Flag certificate
The Ministry of Tourism reports that 24 beaches in the Dominican Republic have been certified as Blue Flag beaches for 2020-2021. The Environmental Law Institute of the Dominican Republic (IDARD) is responsible for issuing the certificates.
